The Opportunity
The Oil & Gas Regional Property Manager (Executive Director) will lead a team of eight professionals while also managing a personal portfolio of mineral accounts. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both technical skill in mineral property management and the ability to collaborate with fiduciary officers, wealth advisors, and clients.
Responsibilities
Mineral Asset Oversight

Negotiate oil and gas leases and manage sales of mineral properties.

Conduct inspections of working interest properties and resolve title issues.

Review and analyze well activity and cash flows to ensure revenue accuracy.
Financial and Fiduciary Management

Oversee annual account reviews and approve ad valorem tax payments.

Review and authorize joint interest billings and operating expenses.

Maintain accurate legal, environmental, and litigation records.
Client Advisory

Prepare client reports and presentations in partnership with trust officers.

Participate in meetings to address mineral-related issues within broader wealth management strategies.

Assist in marketing mineral management services to prospective clients.
Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mineral property managers and analysts.

Collaborate with the Global Head of Mineral Asset Management on process improvements and compliance.

Ensure operational efficiency while maintaining risk and fiduciary standards.
Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an in-house landman with an exploration & production company or mineral management firm.

At least 5 years in a leadership role, with proven ability to manage teams.

Bachelor’s degree required; JD or MBA preferred.

Certified Professional Landman (CPL) designation required.

Strong record of success in client-facing roles within wealth or mineral asset management.

Ability to anticipate challenges, develop strategy, and deliver results.
